The short version
- System RiseUp is responsible for the personal data described here, on this website and in the products we operate, such as SeeYourProfit.
- We collect what you give us (messages, refund requests, account details and the entries you add) plus the basic technical logs needed to run and protect the service.
- We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your business data for advertising.
- Card payments are handled by our payment processor. We never receive or store full card numbers.
- No advertising or tracking cookies. Visit statistics are anonymous, aggregated and collected without cookies. Your browser only remembers your language.
- Your SeeYourProfit records are kept when a subscription lapses, unless you ask us to delete them.
- You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data at any time by writing to info@systemriseup.com.
Who we are
System RiseUp is a technology company that develops, owns and operates digital products and services, especially software offered by subscription (SaaS). Our first product is SeeYourProfit.
For the personal data described in this policy, System RiseUp is the data controller: we decide why and how that data is used. In this policy, “System RiseUp”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean System RiseUp, and “you” means anyone who visits our website, contacts us or uses one of our products.
You can reach us by email at info@systemriseup.com or on WhatsApp at +962 78 035 5916 (opens in a new tab).
What this policy covers
This policy applies to:
- this website, systemriseup.com, in English and Arabic;
- the products and services we operate, such as SeeYourProfit at seeyourprofit.com (opens in a new tab);
- messages you send us by email, by WhatsApp or through our forms.
A product may publish its own privacy notice with details that are specific to it, such as the SeeYourProfit privacy notice (opens in a new tab). Product notices add detail and are read together with this policy.
This policy does not cover websites or services run by other companies, even when we link to them. See Links to other websites.
The data we collect
We collect only what we need for the purposes in this policy. Most of it comes directly from you.
When you use our contact form
Your name, your email address, the topic you choose, your message, and your confirmation that we may use these details to reply.
When you request a refund
Your full name, the email address of your account, the product and plan, the payment date, whether it was a first payment or a renewal, a payment reference such as an invoice or receipt number, the reason for the request and the details you give. The form asks you never to enter card details.
How these two forms send data: today neither form sends anything by itself. Each one prepares your message on your device, and you choose whether to send it by email or WhatsApp. We receive it only when you send it.
When you contact us by email or WhatsApp
Your email address or phone number, the name shown on your email or WhatsApp profile, and the content of your messages, including any files you choose to send.
When you use a product account, such as SeeYourProfit
- Account details: your name, business name and email address, the sign-in details you choose, and the country and currency you select at sign-up.
- Business records: the financial entries you add (sales, general expenses, personal advances and salaries) with their amounts, dates and any other details you enter, plus the targets you set and the exports you create.
- Subscription records: your plan, billing period, renewal dates, payment status and account status.
- Support: the tickets and messages you send from inside the product.
- Security records: basic records of sign-in activity, for example when a sign-in happened and the IP address and browser used, so we can protect your account.
When you pay
Card payments are handled by a third-party payment processor. You enter your card details into a payment form provided by the processor, and we never receive or store full card numbers. The processor may share limited information with us, such as the amount, date and status of a payment, a transaction reference and, where it provides them, the card brand and its last four digits.
When you visit our websites
Like almost every website, our hosting provider’s servers automatically record standard technical information in server logs: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested, the date and time, and the page you came from. These logs are kept by the hosting provider to deliver the website and keep it secure. We do not use them to build profiles of visitors.
This website also remembers your language in your browser. See Cookies and local storage.
What we ask you not to send
Please do not send us card numbers, passwords or sensitive information, such as health records or identity document numbers, through our forms, by email or on WhatsApp. We do not need them to help you.
Why we use your data and our legal bases
We use personal data only when we have a valid reason. Depending on the purpose, we rely on one or more of these legal bases:
- Contract: to provide a product or service you signed up for, or to take steps you ask for before you sign up.
- Legitimate interests: to run, secure and improve our services and to answer people who contact us, where your rights do not outweigh these interests.
- Consent: where we ask for your permission. You can withdraw it at any time, without affecting anything done before you withdrew it.
- Legal obligation: to keep the records the law requires, such as accounting and tax records, and to answer lawful requests.
| Purpose | Data used | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Reply to your messages and questions | Your contact details and message | Legitimate interestsConsent |
| Create and run your product account | Account details and business records | Contract |
| Manage subscriptions and payments | Subscription records and limited payment details | ContractLegal obligation |
| Review refund requests | Refund request details and payment records | ContractLegal obligation |
| Send service messages, such as renewal reminders | Contact details and account status | Contract |
| Keep accounts and services secure, and prevent fraud and abuse | Security records and server logs | Legitimate interests |

How we use your data, and what we never do
We use personal data to:
- answer your questions and support requests;
- create, run and maintain your product account, and show you your own figures, charts and targets;
- handle subscriptions, renewals, cancellations and refund requests;
- send service messages about your account, such as renewal reminders, account status notices and important changes, inside the product and, where needed, by email;
- keep our services secure, detect misuse and fix problems;
- improve our website and products, using information that does not identify you wherever we can;
- meet our legal and accounting obligations.
What we never do
- We do not sell personal data, and we do not rent or trade it.
- We do not use the business data you enter, such as your sales and expenses, for advertising, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing.
- We do not show advertising on this website.
- We do not make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects based only on automated processing.
If we ever want to send you marketing messages, we will do so only where the law allows it, and every message will include a simple way to stop receiving them.
Cookies and local storage
This website does not use advertising cookies or tracking cookies. The visit statistics described under Analytics are collected without cookies.
It saves two small items in your browser’s local storage, and their only job is to remember your language:
- the language you chose (English or Arabic), saved when you switch language;
- a note that you closed the suggestion to view the site in your other language, so it does not appear again.
These items stay on your device. They are not sent to us and they do not identify you. You can remove them at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings. The site keeps working as before and simply forgets your language.
Products that have a sign-in, such as SeeYourProfit, may use strictly necessary cookies or similar technologies to keep you signed in and to protect your session. These are needed for the service to work and are not used for advertising.
If we ever add cookies that are not strictly necessary, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Service providers and sharing
We use a small number of service providers to run our website and products. They process personal data on our behalf, only to provide their service to us, and we require them to protect it.
- Hosting provider Always
- Hosts this website and our products, and keeps standard server logs.
- Payment processor When you pay
- Processes subscription payments and handles card details under its own security standards and privacy policy.
- Email provider When we exchange email
- Sends and receives our email, including our replies to you and service messages.
- Messaging app Only if you choose it
- Carries the messages you choose to send us through a messaging app. That app’s own privacy policy applies to how it handles your data.
- Analytics service Without cookies
- Produces anonymous, aggregated visit statistics, such as pages viewed, referring sites, country and device type. It does not use cookies and does not identify you.
- Form-processing provider Only when enabled
- Delivers contact and refund form submissions to us when our forms are set up to send directly. Our forms do not use one today.
We describe our providers by the service they give us. Where a provider acts as an independent controller, such as a payment processor for fraud prevention and its own legal duties, its own privacy policy also applies.
We may also share personal data:
- when the law requires it, or to respond to a valid request from a court or public authority;
- to protect the rights, safety and property of our users, the public or System RiseUp, including to prevent fraud;
- with professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers, who are bound by confidentiality;
- if System RiseUp or one of its products is reorganised, merged or transferred, with the new owner, who must keep protecting the data as this policy describes;
- with anyone else, when you ask us to or agree to it.
Analytics
To understand how this website is used and to keep it fast, we collect anonymous, aggregated visit statistics through a privacy-focused analytics service. It records information such as the pages viewed, the referring site, the country, the device and browser type, and how quickly pages load.
The service does not use cookies, does not store anything on your device, does not follow you across other websites and does not build profiles of individual visitors. We look at these statistics only in aggregate, to improve the website.
Your product account data
When you create an account for one of our products, such as SeeYourProfit, the account holds your account details and the business records you enter. This is how we treat that data:
- It is yours. You decide what to enter, and you can export any period to Excel at any time.
- It is kept separate. Each account’s data is isolated from every other account. One account per business or branch keeps each set of figures apart.
- It is used to serve you. We use it to provide the service, support you and keep your account secure, not for advertising.
- It is kept when payment stops. If a SeeYourProfit subscription lapses, nothing is deleted. The account becomes read-only, and renewing restores full access. If you would rather have your data deleted, ask us (see Your rights).
- Our access is limited. We access account data only when needed, for example to answer a support request you made, to fix a problem or to meet a legal duty.
If you enter information about other people, for example details of employees in salary entries, make sure you are allowed to do so and that they are informed where the law requires it. For those records, we act on your instructions to provide the service.
Messages and requests you send us
When you write to us through a form, by email or on WhatsApp, we use what you send to understand your request, reply and follow up. Refund requests are reviewed under our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
We keep messages for as long as we need them to handle your request and any follow-up. Requests linked to payments, such as refund requests, are kept with our payment records for as long as accounting and tax laws require.
When you message us through a messaging app, the app’s provider also processes your message and profile under its own terms. You can always write to us by email instead.
How we protect your data
- Data travels to and from our websites over encrypted HTTPS connections.
- We aim to limit access to personal data to the people and systems that need it.
- The data of each product account is isolated from other accounts.
- We aim to use service providers that protect data with appropriate security measures.
No method of sending or storing data is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach affects your personal data, we will inform you and the relevant authorities where the law requires it.
Your part: use a password that is private to you and not used anywhere else, sign out on shared devices, and tell us at once at info@systemriseup.com if you think someone has used your account without permission. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details confidential.
International transfers
Our service providers may store or process personal data in countries other than the one you live in, and those countries may have different data-protection laws. When personal data crosses borders, we take steps so that it stays protected as this policy describes, and where the law requires safeguards for such transfers, we rely on the safeguards our providers offer.
You can ask us for more information about these safeguards.
How long we keep data
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, or for as long as the law requires.
- Product accounts: for as long as the account exists. A SeeYourProfit account and its records are kept when a subscription lapses, so you can return to them, unless you ask us to delete them.
- Payment and billing records: for as long as accounting and tax laws require, even after an account is deleted.
- Messages and requests: for as long as needed to handle them and any follow-up, or longer where a request is linked to payment records or a legal claim.
- Security records and server logs: for a limited period, set by us or by our hosting provider, to protect and operate the service.
- Your language preference: in your own browser, until you clear it.
When we no longer need personal data, we delete it or make it anonymous. Copies in routine backups, where they exist, are removed as those backups are replaced. We may keep data for longer when we must, for example to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, data-protection laws, including the laws of the place where System RiseUp is registered, give you rights over your personal data. We handle every request in good faith, and we tell you when a right does not apply.
- Access
- Ask whether we hold personal data about you, and get a copy of it.
- Correction
- Ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or to complete data that is missing.
- Deletion
- Ask us to delete your data, unless the law requires us to keep it.
- Export
- Get the data you gave us in a structured, commonly used format. SeeYourProfit also lets you export any period to Excel yourself.
- Restriction
- Ask us to limit how we use your data in certain cases, for example while a correction is checked.
- Objection
- Object to uses based on our legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time.
- Withdraw consent
- Where we rely on your consent, withdraw it at any time. This does not affect what was done before.
- Complaint
- Complain to the data-protection authority where you live or work. We would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.
How to use your rights
Write to info@systemriseup.com and say which right you want to use and which product or service it concerns. If you can, write from the email address linked to your account. You can also use the privacy request helper below this policy to prepare the email.
To protect your data, we confirm your identity before we act, and we may ask you for more information to do so. Someone else can make a request for you if they show that you have authorised them.
We answer within the time set by the law that applies to your request. Using your rights is normally free. If a request is clearly unfounded or excessive, we may refuse it or charge a reasonable fee where the law allows, and we will explain why. We will not treat you differently for using your rights.
Children
Our website and products are meant for adults and businesses. They are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us at info@systemriseup.com and we will delete it.
Accuracy of your data and your responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the data you enter into our products, and for having the right to enter it. Please keep your account details up to date so we can reach you about your account.
Our products help you record and understand your own figures. They are not an accounting, tax, legal or financial advisory service, and the figures they show depend on what you enter. For decisions that need professional advice, consult a qualified professional.
Links to other websites
Our website links to websites and services run by others, such as messaging apps, email services and our payment processor’s pages. When you follow those links, that website’s own privacy policy applies. We are not responsible for how other websites handle your data, so please read their policies.
Websites we operate ourselves, such as seeyourprofit.com, are covered by this policy together with their own notices.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services, our providers or the law change. When we do, we change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
If a change is material, for example a new use of your data or a new kind of service provider, we will give account holders notice before it takes effect, for example inside the product or by email. Where the law requires your consent to a change, we will ask for it.
Contact us about privacy
